Eye Spy
Every pediatric dentist knows that kids are the best teachers. We are constantly humbled and inspired by our littlest patients. Here are my favorite gems:
Use your imagination first and reason second. Sometimes baby steps win the race. Look up, jump in, and rock out! Wear delicious food like it’s face paint. Share cupcakes, especially the sprinkles! There’s a song for everything. Curiosity kills boredom. Bouncing gets the giggles out. Every girl is a princess. Every boy is a superhero. Keep an eye out for magic. Don’t forget your wonder! Monsters don’t have birthday parties! Laugh at yourself. Lots of colors are better than one! Coloring inside the lines is optional. Take the leap. Forget the fall! Boo-boos mean cool band-aids. Mommy hugs are medicine. Insist on story time. Make lots of best friends. Invent your own fun. Laughter is contagious. Smiles are free! Play, every day.
