About Brookline, MA
Brookline is a town in the Norfolk county of Massachusetts. It is a part of the Greater Boston area. The town was first settled as a hamlet in Boston in 1638 and was incorporated as a separate town in 1705. It was known as the hamlet of the Muddy River, which was used as the Brookline – Boston border at incorporation.
